This complete and balanced dry kitten food is expertly formulated to meet the nutritional and energy needs of your kitten as they grow, play, and explore their new world. It supports:

VETERINARY HPM® Pre Neutered Kitten is an energy-dense kitten food with high quantities of quality animal proteins to support a healthy growth in kittens. It also contains the ideal balance of calcium and phosphorous to ensure healthy bone development.

Help your kitten to build a strong, resilient immune system with beta-glucan, an insoluble fibre extracted from yeast. It’s shown to improve the immune response after vaccinations, boosting your kitten’s defences against disease. [1]

This highly digestible food is gentle on your kitten’s delicate digestive system. Prebiotics and postbiotics help to promote beneficial digestive flora, while psyllium fibre and bentonite help to regulate digestive transit and ensure normal stool odour and consistency.

VETERINARY HPM® Pre Neutered Kitten is a dry kitten food suitable for unneutered kittens up to 12 months old, or until sterilised. It’s also suitable for pregnant or lactating adult cats. If your kitten has been neutered, try VETERINARY HPM® Junior Neutered instead. Always check with your veterinarian before giving your pregnant or lactating cat a new food to ensure it’s suitable for their needs.

Cats are naturally strict carnivores. That means they need their food to provide them with a high quantity of high-quality animal proteins and reduced quantities of carbohydrates, as they're not equipped to properly digest them. VETERINARY HPM® is formulated with an ideal high-protein/low-carbohydrate balance to promote muscle mass, support your cat’s digestive and urinary health, and keep their skin and coat healthy. Kittens in particular need a high-quality, energetic and digestible food to support them through the intense growth of their first year, with the protein they need to build healthy muscles and bones. VETERINARY HPM® Pre Neutered Kitten is formulated to meet these needs with 45% protein (92% animal origin) and 17% carbohydrates

You can find recommended daily ration for VETERINARY HPM® Pre Neutered Kitten on this page and on the packaging. For kittens, the rations will depend on their age and body weight. Weigh your kitten every month and adjust their rations as needed to ensure healthy growth. For pregnant cats, calculate the ration based on their weight at the start of pregnancy. For lactating cats, calculate the ration based on their current weight. If you’re unsure how much to feed your cat at any age or life stage, always ask your vet for advice.

To help your kitten get accustomed to their new food, it's important to introduce it gradually. Mix a small amount of the new food with your cat's current food, gradually increasing the proportion until they're exclusively eating the new food. Use the following schedule as a guide for a successful transition: • Days 1-2 – 75% current food and 25% new food. • Days 3-4 – 50% current food and 50% new food. • Days 5-6 – 25% current food and 75% new food. • Day 7 onwards – 100% new food.
