Whether their condition is acute or chronic, you can support your dog with Digestive Support Dog G1, a dry dog food clinically formulated to restore digestive function and promote recovery.
Ideally adapted to dogs’ needs and optimal health, Veterinary HPM® G1 Digestive Support offers a low-carb, high-protein formula containing 21,5% carbohydrates and 34% protein (of which 92% of animal origin).

The highly digestible, low-starch formula supports digestion alongside the Digest Plus complex, a blend of supportive ingredients that includes clay, prebiotics, postbiotics, selected fibres, butyrate, nucleotides, beta glucan, and vitamin E. It helps to:

The daily ration is based on the dog's current bodyweight, and must be adjusted every week during recovery and every month in the medium/long term.

VETERINARY HPM® Digestive Support Dog G1 is a gastrointestinal dog food to support nutrition, digestive function and recovery in dogs with acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders. It can be given to dogs of all ages to manage digestive disorders and can also be used in recovery after digestive surgery, disease or loss of appetite. VETERINARY HPM® Digestive Support Dog G1 is not suitable for dogs with chronic kidney disease, chronic hepatic (liver) insufficiency, or cardiac insufficiency. Always check with your veterinarian before giving your dog a new gastrointestinal dog food to ensure it is suitable for their needs.

Dogs are naturally carnivores and need to eat an abundance of high-quality animal proteins for optimal health. VETERINARY HPM® Digestive Support Dog G1 is formulated to meet these needs with 34% protein (92% from animal origin) and 21.5% carbohydrates.

You can find the recommended daily ration for VETERINARY HPM® Digestive Support Dog G1 on this page and on the packaging. The rations will depend on your dog’s age and body weight, so weigh your dog every month and adjust their rations as needed. If you’re unsure how much to feed your dog, always ask your vet for advice.

It’s always best to introduce new foods gradually. Try mixing a small amount of the new food with your dog’s current food, gradually increasing the amount until they’re exclusively eating the new food. Use the following schedule as a guide for a successful transition: • Days 1-2 – 75% current food and 25% new food. • Days 3-4 – 50% current food and 50% new food. • Days 5-6 – 25% current food and 75% new food. • Day 7 onwards – 100% new food.
